Greenhouse gas emissions of EU-27 member states based on data from the European Environment Agency (EEA). The dataset contains emission quantities by country, sector and gas as well as derived indicators: emissions per capita, emissions per GDP and emission intensity (per primary energy consumption). The CO2 equivalents are calculated using the latest GWP100 as given by the IPCC s fifth assessment report (AR5). This dataset describes the statistical basis for the report “Environmental Crimes” on trends in environmental crime in Germany beginning in 2013. The data is based on police crime statistics, the Federal Statistical Office’s law enforcement statistics, and the Federal Criminal Police Office’s (BKA) overview of organized crime. The analysis covers individual offenses and total environmental crimes under Section 29 of the German Criminal Code (StGB), as well as environmentally relevant ancillary offenses, broken down by year and federal state, among other categories. The Federal Environment Agency is responsible for aggregation and harmonization. Number of convicted persons and court decisions for environmental offences from German prosecution statistics (Destatis table csv-24311-07). National time series 2013–2024 by decision type, sex, offence and penal law applied. This dataset from the Working Group on Renewable Energy Statistics (AGEE-Stat) contains up-to-date figures on the development of avoided greenhouse gas emissions due to the expansion of renewable energies.The task of AGEE-Stat is to continuously provide up-to-date, consistent, reliable and harmonised data on the status of renewable energy use in Germany and the German contribution to the EU targets. AGEE-Stat thus provides the basis for various national, EU-wide and international reporting obligations of the German government.
